I have a HP M8100n Desktop and I’m wondering if I connect my ps5 into it with the HDMI will my it show up on my HP w2007 moniter

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

 

Your HP Pavilion m8100n only outputs via VGA, and your HP w2007 monitor only accepts VGA input -it has no HDMI port.

 

That’s why connecting your PS5 with HDMI doesn’t work. To get it working, either plug your PS5 directly into a monitor with HDMI or use an active HDMI-to-VGA converter (with power) such as this Amazon purchase example. Then you can connect your PS5 to the HDMI input of the converter, and from the VGA output of the converter to your HP w2007 monitor.
