Product: Omen 25L
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Omen 25L did not come with an RGB fan.  If I install one on my own will it be recognized in Light Studio or will I have to find another way to manage it?  HP support rep said to "try it and see what happens".  I would prefer to have a little more info before I get the screwdriver out.  Thanks.

Was a RGB fan a purchase-time option for your computer?

If so, search on http://PartSurfer.HP.com

to see if you can order the fan directly from HP.

The RGB fan wasn't an option when I ordered the computer.  I ordered it pre-built.  The description of the motherboard was AMD Ryzen/Moria.  I'm just wondering if an aftermarket RGB fan will work as there is an unused connector labeled "RGB" next to the CPU fan connector and if so will the Omen command center app automatically recognize it.  Thanks,  JC
