Hi, I have an HP Envy 795-0040xt desktop which came with a model: DU-8AESH-HC3 DVD/CD Rewritable Drive. Its been damaged and while its out I'd like to upgrade to a drive which is capable of also reading BluRay DVD. Can you advise what part number I can source which would be applicable for my desktop? Thank you.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the DVD drive on the computer is gone bad and you are looking to upgrade it to a Blu-ray player.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
Most of the Blu-ray drives should fit in without any issues on the computer. You can purchase all the replacement parts available for your computer from HP part surfer.
Follow the steps in the below article for detailed instructions.
