I would like to buy a HP PRODESK 400 G7 SFF with a standards SSD 512 GB M.2 2280 but I would like to add a hard disk SATA 1TB in 2,5'' or 3,5'' , is that possible physically and is there a SATA controller on board ? Thanks

The series has option to install SATA drive or M.2 drive
https://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetDocument.aspx?docname=4aa7-7740enuc
It also supports One 3.5" HDD convertible to two 2.5" HDD with caddy therefore it should have SATA controller on board but you may need to enable SATA in BIOS because SATA port disablement (via BIOS) by default when using M.2 SSD.
Regards.
