Product: hp pavillon i don't now
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista

Does anyone confirm, that ryzen 5 3400g is not compatible with hp pavillon? am4 socket, latest bios version and latest radeon driver

In order to give an even generic answer, the model complete number of the HP PC needs to be posted.

The Ryzen 5 3400g is a 3rd generation AMD CPU, so the motherboard for an OEM must be able to accept that line.  If there is not a third generation in it already, then it most likely will not accept that CPU.  Again need the complete model number

In the link supplied by you, it shows the CPU's that will work with that motherboard.  The AMD A12-9800 is the highest supported CPU and is much older technology than the Ryzen 5 3400G.  Therefore that motherboard will not support the Ryzen 5 3400G.
