HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fd0000 (70Q98AV)

Hello, to anyone reading this message, I have a HP Laptop 15 fd0000. For a strange reason, it says HP 15 fd0xxx. I am not very fond of this, but here is the laptop model according to the Device ID. https://laptopmedia.com/ca/series/hp-15-15-fc0000/ This laptop is decently sturdy and well-made. However, It's current CPU is a Intel N100. It isn't really the best in terms of games. It also is a 64 bit computer. I would like to know if this computer can support processers like AMD Ryzen 5, so I can get a CPU upgrade. I don't want to buy a CPU just to find out that it's not compatible or that the CPU is in the motherboard.

Hi:

The processor is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded unless you replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.

Being that your notebook is relatively new, it would probably be cheaper to sell or trade in your notebook for one that comes with better hardware than to upgrade the motherboard in yours.
