Product: HP EliteDesk 800 35W G3 Base Model Desktop Mini PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hello, i upgrade my elitedesk 800 g3 mini 35w i5-6500T to a 65w i7-7700 cpu, i installed bliss os on this pc an when i open my dartapp to play, the cpu will go to +- 85 at 91°. How long can the cpu run under this condition?

@Beatstuff,

 

Short answer: your 35W DM is not designed to handle 65-watt processors.

 

Mind you, it is possible -even an i7-7700K (91-watt TDP) in your case would work, but it requires a significant heatsink modification, as I did with my G3 DM and later with an HP EliteDesk 800 G4 65W DM.
