Cpu upgrade from Intel G4400 to Intel i5-6500

HP Recommended
HP 280 G2 MT
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Do i need to update my bios and if I need to. How?

if it is this one, the processor is in the cpu list

 


You shouldn't need to do this
Try, then if it doesn't work then you can try updating the bios
Unless the processor is not in working order, in this case it would be useless
