Ipm87 mp
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the ipma7 mp motherboard in my pavilion with an i3 processor,  what processor can I upgrade to and is this motherboard worth upgrading? Also I have been getting critical process errors with the blue screen and wasn't sure if upgrading the cpu would fix it and make it work better. I was looking at the i7 but not sure really what I should get that will be compatible.

Intel HD Integrated Graphics

6 GB

  • Amount: 6 GB
  • Speed: PC3-12800 MB/s
  • Type: DDR3-1600

I don't know if this is the best option
unless already done ..
you don't have a graphics card, and only 6gb of memory
Unfortunately 180w power supply only, it will block you for a lot of model
but even a small graphics card could be advantageous, with a little more memory

Consider the cost just for the processor, and your budget, but maybe this is not what should be replaced first!
