Hp Pavilion 570-p065se
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm' thinking about doing a case swap, but the Lubin motherboard in this Pavilion has a custom size (20.5x22.0 cm (8.1x8.7 in)) and I was wondering if it will fit any cases? The standoffs look very similar to MicroATX, but I have no idea. Thank in advance.

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

That is a tough question to answer.

Only another forum member doing this swap can give you a definitive answer.

It all comes down to if HP used uATX motherboard (MB) mounting points and chassis' standoff positions in this chassis.

Absent any other member input you would have to examine the current MB mounting points and compare to standard uATX chassis standoff points.

You don't want a uATX chassis standoff hidden behind the MB. This will short the system and can cause damage.

Just to clarify by uATX you are referring to MicroATX? Also, I'm new so bear with me, but how will an unused standoff behind the motherboard make it short the system?

Hi Ricky1111,

Yes, uATX is micro ATX.

Standoffs cannot touch the motherboard (MB). There are electrical solder points and tracings on the bottom of the MB.

MB standoffs must align with the isolated mounting points on the MB.

Ok, so you are saying there can't be any extra standoffs under the motherboard where a screw won't be going into it? That makes sense. Thanks.

Hi,

You're very welcome.

This (no hidden standoffs behind the MB) is a critical step to avoid zapping the MB and connected components.

This is also why you must be 100% certain you can move the Lubin MB to a different chassis.

Alright, thank you, hopefully, I can find someone that has done this swap.

I don't think it is a standard size. You can find ALL standard (not customized) motherboard sizes on the following link

For customized boards you need customized cases otherwise those screws won't line up and you may get all expansion slots are at wrong places.
