OMEN 16L Gaming Desktop PC TG03-0000i (A8JZ9AV)

Hi everyone,
I’m wondering if anyone has experience getting DDR5 XMP profiles to work on non-certified memory modules with an HP system. I’m trying to determine whether XMP can be enabled manually through the BIOS, or if HP restricts XMP support to certified/approved memory kits.

If anyone has successfully run non-certified DDR5 modules with XMP on an HP system, I’d appreciate hearing what settings or BIOS version you used.

Thanks!

Hi @BanksRm

If your BIOS supports XMP memory, you shouldn't have any problems, but I recommend reading the following document

HP OMEN PCs – Configure XMP-compatible memory that is not verified by HP | HP® Support
