My fan needs replacing in my SLIMLINE DESKTOP 270-p014. HP does not provide the part. I have searched everywhere for a replacement and no one seems to have information on the HP model number or the specifications so I can locate another brand for a replacement. The old fan has no markings. Any help appreciated in locating a replacement or maybe a schematic of the motherboard would reveal something. I am totally frustrated and a little put out with HP for not offering more help.

@WKENL , welcome to the Community.
Here is the Motherboard Specification page. I am not certain that it will help you with the fan. However, here are the components of the computer on HP PartSurfer. You can use the Fan part # (819807-001) to search for it online. You could even check with a local computer shop to see if they can match the fan. I don't believe that the connector is HP proprietary.
