my DVD drive failed and now I cant play DVD's and cd's. Is there Any way i can replace it

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps: 

  • Step 1: Confirm if the disc is causing the issue
  • Step 2: Run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter
  • Step 3: Test the drive for a hardware failure
  • Step 4: Check the drive status in Device Manager
  • Step 5: Enable AutoPlay
  • Step 6: Restore the PC to an earlier state
