Hi. I am new around here, please bear with me.
I purchased a refurbished HP product on eBay, but I have not been able to use the DVD drive.
It's a "Ultra Slim Tray SuperMulti DVD Burner".
I thought it would work out-of-the-box, but apparently I need some sort of driver (or even worse, it is damaged).
So do I? Need a driver? I've not been able to find one on the HP support site. Moreover, how would I go about replacing this "ultra-slim-tray" drive?
Thanks so much in advance for all and any help!

If the Windows install was done with the DVD/CD drive present, Windows will install any drivers that are needed. If for some reason it does not detect the drive, try opening Device Manager, right click on the PC (all the way to the top) and pick "scan for new hardware" or something simialr.
Here are general instructions for changing out a slim DVD/CD drive

I'm not an HP employee.
