Hello

My DVD player will not recognize Maxell DVD-R discs but will recognize HP DVD-R discs.

hi

if there is no firmware update for the player, to fix this, then nothing to do
This has been around for a long time, some models will not be able to read, some dvds, cds..
I have already had the problem, because the player is more or less old compared to the cd used..
annoying when you have backups made with an old computer, and not readable with the new one
Sometimes installing different burning software will help, but hard to find the right one, and sometimes nothing!
