There needs to be additional information given for an answer to that question.

Typically DVD or CD drives can read many forms of the media.  What is the content of the DVD/CD and where does that content originate?

Also, please note the DVD/CD drive information and what software you are using to read the content of the DVD/CD, also what OS is installed.
