HP - OMEN Obelisk- Intel Core i7-9700 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti - 1TB Hard Drive + 256GB SSD Model: 875-0034 purchased Dec 2019.
I wish to upgrade the Toshiba KBG30ZMV256G - 256GB (from Device Mgr.) ssd to 512GB.
What type of ssd do I need to ensure compatibility since I am unsure about the device currently installed.?

Hi:
According to the drive # you posted, it is a SATA M.2 SSD.

I decided to look up your PC on the Crucial website and according to the report, your PC can also use NVMe M.2 SSD's, which would provide much faster read/write speeds than a SATA one.
