@Maryannimal, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're trying to remove the outer housing of your HP All-in-One PC and it's stuck near the bottom middle, it's likely being held by hidden screws or clips, often near the stand or speaker cover area. Here's a general step-by-step guide that works for many HP All-in-One models like the 24-df series:

Steps to Disassemble the Outer Housing:

Power Off and Unplug
Ensure the PC is completely powered off and unplugged from any power source.

Lay the PC Face Down
Place the unit on a soft surface (like a towel) to avoid scratching the screen.

Remove the Stand (if applicable)
Some models have screws hidden under the stand. Remove the stand by unscrewing it from the back.

Remove the Speaker Cover (if present)
The speaker cover is usually clipped in and can be gently pried off using a plastic spudger or flat tool.

Locate and Remove All Screws
Check for screws under rubber feet, stickers, or labels. Remove all visible screws from the back panel.

Pry Open the Housing
Use a plastic pry tool to gently work around the edges. Pay special attention to the bottom middle area, as it often has strong clips or additional screws.

Disconnect Internal Cables Carefully
Once the back panel is loose, slowly lift it and disconnect any cables (like the backlight or LVDS cable) before fully removing it.
