HP Envy Desktop - Model 750170se

Two small wires that come from a hole in the top of the case and are anchored to the underside of the power module compartment have become disconnected from ???  the motherboard or the Nadia card? I do not know where to reattach them. Bluetooth no longer functions on the PC - I suspect that this may be the cause….

Any guidance as to where they should be reattached - preferably with a photo would be much appreciated.

Hi:

Yes, you disconnected the wireless antenna wires from the Wi-Fi card.

You will have to find the Wi-Fi card which is lying flat on the motherboard and reattach the wires.

HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - motherboard specifications, Thimphu | HP® Customer Support

The motherboard illustration above is labeled to show you where the Wi-Fi card slot is located.

This link shows what the Wi-Fi card looks like:

Genuine HP 803344-001 WLAN 11ac INT 3165 M 2 MOW 5059998156843 | eBay

It is very small compared to the illustration.

Maybe 3/4 of an inch long and 1/2 inch wide.
