I was wondering if my HP All in One Pavilion k0215t (Customizable Version) has slots to install one or more SSD to expand memory.

If it does have slots:

how many slots does it has?

what form of SSD slots does it has (eg. M. 2 form or 2.5 inch form)?

I found some All in Ones have the slots, and some don't. I couldn't find the answer for my PC since it's a customizable product HP used to sell,  but now it's discontinued.

@Angela_L17 , welcome to the Community.

If your computer came with the "1 TB 7200 rpm SATA HDD" there is one M.2 socket for a SSD.  These are the

Alternate Options:

2 TB 5400 rpm SATA HDD
128 GB PCIe® NVMe™ TLC M.2 SSD
256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
1 TB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD

I suggest Samsung M.2, SSD's because they seem to work best with HP motherboards and BIOS'es.

Thank you so much for the answer!

I was planning to add 8-12 TB for my PC, but M.2 SSD only has up to 4TB of memory and very few are up to 8TB. I have my eyes on the Samsung - 990 PRO 4TB Internal SSD PCIe Gen 4x4 NVMe,  and I hope it's a good choice for now.

I suggest that you contact Samsung's Tech Support to assure that the PCIe Gen 4x4 NVMe will be compatible with your motherboard.  They should be backward compatible, but may be too new.  This will save you some money and frustration if it doesn't work.

Thank you once again for your reply. I wanted to provide an update for those who may be searching for a definitive answer. After opening up the back of my All-in-One PC and inspecting the motherboard, I found that there isn't an extra slot for either an SSD or SATA drive.

Ultimately, I decided to replace my SATA drive (my D drive on the PC) with a new 4T SATA Drive and keep my SSD (my C drive), as the SSD has better specifications.

Given that my all-in-one PC is a custom build of the Pavilion k0215X model, and HP doesn't offer support online or in any official help articles regarding detailed motherboard components, finding the correct answer can be challenging.

I want to express my gratitude once again for the initial help and detailed suggestion regarding the SSD. Your quick response provided me with reassurance.
