HP Compaq Pro 6200 SFF
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an SSD and a 1 tb hdd hooked up, but I can't seem to get the computer to boot into the SSD.

I know the SSD worked because I took it out of my laptop, it shows up in the bios AND the devices and drives area of windows 10..

also, would an i7-2600k work in the computer? I currently have an i5-2400s, which i upgraded from a Pentium G620.

this is the other things i have: 8 gigs of ram, and a Quadra P400 GPU.

Hi:

Below is the link to the quickspecs for the 6200 Pro.

http://static.highspeedbackbone.net/pdf/HP%20Compaq%206200%20Series%20Pro%20Desktop%20PC%20Quick%20S...

The supported processors can be found on pages 6 & 7.

I have the 6200 Pro MT (i5-2400), 16 GB memory, running on W10 Pro with a WD Blue 250 GB SSD just fine.

I have not tried to add a second hard drive.  I do not need one.

You do need to make sure the SSD is plugged into SATA port 0, and the HDD in SATA port 1.

Port 0 is the port the drive boots from.
