Hi there, does anyone know if my HP Envy can support NVMe SSDs? The product number is Z5M80AA#ABL, and I'm assuming that it is running an Odense2-K motherboard. Thanks!

@kluo,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP ENVY Desktop - 750-539cb (Z5M80AA) is fitted with an Odense2-K motherboard (SSID: 82F1), which, according to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05355651, only has one M.2 socket 1, Key A, which is for a Wi-Fi card only.

If you don't use your PCIe x16 slot for a graphics card, you could use a PCIe x16 to M.2 NVMe SSD adapter, such as this purchase example: Amazon.com: SABRENT NVMe M.2 SSD to PCIe X16/X8/X4 Card with Aluminum Heat Sink (EC-PCIE) : Everythi..., in order to install an M.2 NVMe SSD in your PC.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
