I was recently given a Hp 510-p114 , and i was told that it was purchased for gaming but when i installed a couple of my older games i get a message that says my computer " does not have a graphics accelerator". My question is how can i correct this issue? do i have to buy a graphics card? If so any recommendations?? The computer is about 1 year old. Works great otherwise. I am not very knowledgable about computers. I know basic operations and thats about it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,
Your PC came with integrated graphics (no graphics card) so playing games will be difficult. Naturally you can install a graphics card. As @wb2001 says you can install a single slot graphics card as the atx power connector is placed under the PCIe slot and would not allow a double slot graphics card physically.
Now you might need also to replace the Power Unit, depending on the graphics card, as the PC only has a 180W PSU with 68% efficiency. The form factor of the PSU is uATX (sfx).

Hope it helps,

You can inspect the internals after you power-off and remove the power cord from the unit.
The computer will only allow a single slot graphic card. Dual slot card will not fit, as the main power header blocks installation.
