Its motherboard which shows it has only one M.2 slot

  • One PCIe x16 socket (for discrete graphic card)
  • One PCIe x1 socket
  • One M.2 socket 1, key A
  • One M.2 socket 3, key M (occupied buy 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD)

No, it does not have spare slot for another M.2 SSD

Regards.

I recently disassembled the computer to clean it, I noticed that I have a cell for a hard drive on the top right and free wires went to it, what exactly is connected to them?

It has 2TB of normal HDD now.  I don't know what is you mean cell. That could be another SATA connection that means you would be able to add more HDD or 2.5" SSD

Note: you would need an adapter for 2.5" SSD such as
