Does the Gigabyte GTX 580 work with my m9000?

I have been given a GTX 580 Graphics Card from a friend and I'd like to stick it in my Pc since it outperforms the currently installed Quadro FX 3800. I don't want to fry the motherboard or cause problems. The power supply is providing the required 600w and the gtx 580 seems to fit the pc.

At worst the card does not work, you have to reinstall the original one
