Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a hp 280 g2 mt currently with a g4400 cpu and want to upgrade it, does the motherboard support the latest 8th gen CPUs?

 

BIOS version - AMI A0.41

See page 6 for the list of supported processors.

Only 6th gen core processors are supported.

 

Another forum member tried to install an 8th gen core processor in a similar HP business desktop PC with negative results.
