Does the TP01-2096 have "out of the box" what is needed to add a HDD? Power Supply will support? Connections for a SATA HDD drive (I am looking at WD 2TB 3.5 HDD. Or does it have slot needed to add a 1TB SSD storage?

The HDD cage, it is most often present
but since it changes from one model to another, only HP could confirm, or a user who owns this same model
In any case computer, difficult to upgrade, particularly proprietary power supply, non-standard!
