Hi!

I Wanted to upgrade my i5 10400 to i7 11700 on Dorado motherboard, but as soon as i installed new CPU - nothing happens on the start, just black screen.
I have updated BIOS to the latest version availible on site (F.17 Rev.A), but it didn't help

Does Dorado motherboard supports Intel 11th gen processors?

UPDATE: I have checked this CPU with another motherboard, so it is Ok and works fine.
SUM: Dorado motherboard does not support 11th gen processors 😞

Okay 😞

i7 11700 have the same TDP (65w) and Socket type (LGA 1200), i thought it was enough for this CPU to run on Dorado

Sorry, it's pretty random with this type of motherboard
I recently saw a user who managed to install a processor, not referenced by Hp
Sometimes without updating the bios, it works
But there, you indicate that you have already made the update, and no other available, and nothing says that it would work anyway.
sorry no luck

There remains the possibility of improper handling of a damaged processor.
I hope it works with the original one at least!
