Double Video Cards on HP Pavilion
04-03-2021 02:48 AM

Hi, I would like to know if is it possibile to install two video cards on the HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1032nl (https://support.hp.com/bg-en/document/c06990048).
I know that the motherboard has only 1 slot for video card, but I cannot find out if supports the SLI to add a new video card with a GPU extender riser card PCI-E.
Thanks

Hello
have you already found this type of adapter?
For my part, I can not find much ..
Seems unlikely to me to do what you want
Unless I am mistaken to begin with, the original graphics card may not be sli compatible, in any case, I have found a piece of information which indicates that it is not!
then, you have a power supply of 400w, may be insufficient for two graphics cards in sli
The space in the case may not allow the possibility of having two graphics cards!
to see if an adapter doubles the power of the pci slot or not, I don't have time to look for this type of information ..
So if a 16x pci to dual 16x gpu adapter doesn't have the ability to deliver the right power, the sli shouldn't work I guess
In short, for me it seems unlikely
