HP pavilion all in one
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Just bought a used but practically new HP all in one pavilion, it's was made in 2015. But only has windows 8, is the windows 10 upgrade free? How do I down load it? I am a mac user, so am lost when it comes to hp. and windows. But couldnt pass up the deal for the hp TIA

The free upgrade to W10 expired last December.

 

You can get a free upgrade to W8.1 from the Windows Store if the PC is running W8.

 

Some folks have run the W10 upgrade now tool after this date, and reported they got the free upgrade without having to activate windows.

When windows 10 was introduced it was free of coast. You could update your windows 7 or 8 into 10. But now it is paid. You have to download it from Microsoft and then install it. If you need [edit] you need to visit some other site and they will provide you with no cost.
