Many of us want to print screen in one simple function. Solutions offered in response to similar questions requiring several steps are not helpful. I am not going use snip it for what has always been a quick, one function activity.

 

The keyboard has prt scr as a shared function with shift. How in the heck do we access prt scr?!? I've tried several combinations - no luck!

 

What is equally frustrating is HP's online extensive user instruction manual doesn't reference this key or function AT ALL!

This is  an old school Windows shortcut.

I hadn't used it in a while until I read your thread

 

PrtSc copies an image of the screen to the clipboard memory in Windows.

 

Afterwards, you can press Ctrl+V to paste it into a document.

 

That is the way I have always used it.

 

I just verified that it still works. se the image below.
