Hello, I've been thinking of removing the drive cage for a while now to make space for a triple fan GPU.

I know it will be heavily bottlenecked, but it's a nice way to enjoy a little boost in other games while I wait for my actual PC build in five months.

I'll be using the correct 24 pin to 6 pin converter as well to make my Seasonic GX 750W work.

The main issue is the drive cage. From what I've seen, it's not removable as simply as other cases, so if someone can think of a solution for me, that would be much appreciated!

If you decide to cut the drive cage out, be sure to completely remove the motherboard and HDD (if any HDD).  The vibration from the tool (saw or dremmel) can damage the motherboard socket.  Wipe the chassis with a damp microfiber cloth to remove any metal particles left behind.   Handle the motherboard in a static free manner as explained here
