Product: Compaq Presario
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista

I replaced a power supply in this machine for my father-in=law after a lightening strike. I got the installation CD online and loaded it. It will not boot. Instead it asks for a driver disc, which I do not have. Can anyone help? Reply to hermandeaton@aol.com

For a better answer please delete you email address and add

Make, Model and OS please.

 

If the PC is over 10 years old then help will be sketchy.

Along with the request from @Lil_Boy_Blue for the model number, it might be helpful to explain this " I got the installation CD online and loaded it."  What is this and where did it come from?
