Prodesk 600 G3 SFF
Ubuntu LTS

Hello all,

I have a Prodesk 600 G3 SFF. In the unit I have 32 gig of RAM(4x8 gig). I would like to put two PCI NIC cards into the unit. It seems that if I install one quad port Intel NIC the unit will not boot. I get the red light and three alerts. Has anyone seen this type of problem?

Thanks,
Steve

A bit more information..

The system boots with one PCI slot occupied but when I install the second PCI card the system beeps 3 red and two white, which indicates the embedded controller has timed out waiting for BIOS to return from memory initialization. Why would this be happening?
