Having an occasional buzzing / rattling noise coming from the front face panel plastic vertical "blinds" design on a brand new machine which is less than 1 week old and purchased directly from HP. I have ruled out any triggering vibration such as coming from the DVD drive as it is not running during the emitted buzzing noise and the CPU fans of both the motherboard and graphics card as not the culprit. The case fan on the rear runs constantly and is quiet with no vibration, that said I have not yet ruled out the power supply fan which I've not seen spin as of yet. Next time I get the buzzing / rattling I will look to see if the P.S. fan has turned on and if so it may mean that the fan itself in the power supply may be defective by being out of tolerance in the balancing of the fan blades. >Has anyone else had this annoying buzzing / rattling"?< In addition, it is my opinion that the loose vertical "blinds" design of this cabinet is a design which is just asking for problems such as this buzzing issue. The vertical sections are all loose and apparently added during case assembly at manufacturing. The ideal solution for me would be two different model cases with solid front panels and if HP will step up to the plate and send them I will be elated. I surely do not want exact replacements of neither the cases or the entire computers. HP, are you reading this? How about it.

Hello
we are here in a mutual aid forum, although it is hosted by pro Hp experts, it is not the service guaranteed here!
Possible that an Hp expert can provide an answer, but I don't know yet how it works exactly here.
That said, I doubt Hp will do anything, modify it if I understand the tower correctly, and send it directly, just for a user!
The problem if I understood correctly (not very clear with the translation) is a vibration.
and since there are several fans, and all of them must rotate more or less quickly, I think that it is practically impossible to identify, if it comes from a fan in particular, it can be an accumulation of the different fans.
There may also be an imbalance in the surface where the pc is placed and its "feet"
I ran into a similar problem with another pc, and the vibration subsided depending on how the tower was placed!
