Hi All
I have acquired a HP Elite desktop 800 G2 pretty old but in very good condition.
the problem is it does not have a wlan card or arials fitted so which do i buy and what model ?
modules available are shown in manual but im thinking its out of date
intel dual band wireless-AC 7265 NV
intel dual band wireless-AC 8260 +Bluetooth 4.0
intel dual band wireless-AC 3165 +Bluetooth 4.0
HP wlan 802.11 a/b/g/n + bluetooth 4.0
I am assuming there is a kit ie: card + arials to fit in but the only one have found to date is a card with 3 connections but socket appear to have only two connections if that makes sense.
Thanks all in advance and have a good & safe holiday
🙂

Hi:
I am looking at the HP Quickspecs for the 800 G2 model series, and I don't see that the tower or sff models come with a M.2 slot for a wifi card.

So... if you want to use an internal wifi card, you can purchase a PCIe x1 wifi/bluetooth adapter and that should come with external antennas, and a cable to connect from the wifi adapter to the internal 9-pin bluetooth connector on the motherboard.
No reason why you could not buy one that comes with an Intel ax200 wifi adapter.
Something like this...maybe they have similar items in the UK.
