Hi all.
I have two mini desktops 705 G3 (with A12 cpu) and 705 G4 (with A10 cpu). I’d like to upgrade one of them to Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE for some light gaming. My concern is that HP web with G4 specs states that this pc can have Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE installed (as one of hardware options), but it requires discrete GPU installed also, meanwhile AMD web says that Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE has inbuilt Vega GPU.
Obviously I do trust more to AMD web, but why HP says about discrete GPU then?
And in my case, can any of these 2 pcs upgraded?
Thanks!

Hello
if you read the service manual at link http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06112892
you see two motherboards listed:
18) System board (includes replacement thermal material)
For use in models with AMD A6 processors
For use in models with AMD Ryzen processors
MY opinion is that you can't install a Ryzen 5 Pro 2400GE on the motherboard of you computer.
bye
