EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I am now trying to attach SSD though SATA connection, but I could not see the SSD connected. Even in BIOS, the SSD cannot be found. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Here is the hardware info:

PC: EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF

OS: Windows 10 (64bit)

BIOS version: 00.02.77

SSD: SanDisk Ultra 3D SSD (SDSSDH3-500G-G25)

Thank you,

BRAINJ

@BRainj , welcome to the forum.

I reviewed the specifications of the computer and the SSD.  The SSD appears to be compatible.  If the SSD appears in the Device Manager you should right click on it and select "Mark partition as active".  This should allow you to format it.  If not, I suggest that you contact the manufacturer's Tech Support to see if they can help you.  They are the experts on their products.

Thank you for your reply. I have checked device manager, but could not find the SSD. I will check with the support to investigate it more.
