Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi all, I just want to write here that I installed (fresh install) Windows 11 on a EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF
It is a version of the Windows installer that took away all the checks  (hardware checks and software checks) but uses the real license key from when the computer was bought.  
Everything works great! Updated all the drivers with an " update driver tool" (not sure if am allowed to write the name here).

Just want to say this so other people can update.

Sure, that's fine.

 

In the future, if you want to upgrade any PC running W10 to W11 you can do so without having to clean install W11.

 

See this discussion...I have upgraded 11 unsupported PC's to W11, and they all work fine--including an old HP dc7800, 8000 Elite CMT and 8200 Elite CMT (forerunners of the 800 G1).
