HP Recommended

I have an Elitedesk 800 G3 TWR, I’ve recently upgraded the PSU to the HP 500W p/n(901759-013), I also added a new GPU, an MSI GTX 1650 D6 Aero ITX OC GDDR6 and I’m also running Windows 11 pro. Also have 16GB 2400mhz Ram (2x4gb & 1x8gb)

 

I’ve been considering upgrading my CPU from the I7-7700 to the I7-7700K and potentially getting a better GPU ( maybe a GTX 1660 TI or RTX 2060 Super) I wanted to reach out and see what suggestions everyone had as a better GPU. 

I’d preferably like to game in 1440p resolution and 60+ fps.

 

I know upgrading the CPU to the 7700K is an easy swap but I wasn’t sure if there’s anyway possible to upgrade the motherboard to run an 8th or 9th gen I7 from a G4 or G5 

 

Thanks for any input in advance and let me know if more info is needed!
