EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini PC upgrade to wifi6 and 6E

Hey everyone, I tried searching all the resources I could find. I can't find what wifi adapter would be compatible with the EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini PC.   Could anyone point me a card that is known to work? 

i want he option of wifi6 and E

Hi:

The link below has the supported Wi-Fi cards HP offered in the model series.

None of them are Wi-Fi 6.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to experiment with this card which should have a good chance of working.

The Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E 2x2 AX + Bluetooth 5.2 M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # M27269-005, would still be the only Wifi 6 E card I would recommend you try.

your chassis may not have come with the necessary wiring to connect the wifi card to the needed wifi antennas

for this reason i recommend the HP kits that have the cable/card, which route the antennas/cables internally

if you want to use a intel AX210e card you need to buy the cables/card separately

if using a aftermarket kit you need to make sure the included wiring antenna cables are long enough to connect the card/antennas also you need to find a place to make the mounting holes for the external antenna jacks
