We have several HP EliteDesk 800 G6 Desktop Mini PCs with two DisplayPort connections. We've got them connected to two monitors but we're having a stange issue.

Randomly, the DisplayPort with the second monitor attached will stop working and we get a 'No Signal' message on the monitor. Windows settings doesn't recognise the second monitor, pulling out the cable and putting it back in again has no affect, restarting the PC/Monitors does nothing. If we connect the first monitor to the DisplayPort that's not working, we get the no signal message, connecting the second monitor to the other port displays an image - so it's like one of the DisplayPorts has totally stopped working.

The only way to get the port working is to force restart the PC (restarting normally doesn't work - holding down the power button until the PC shuts down and then switching it back on again works) while the first monitor it's connected to the non-working DisplayPort. Then everything is back to normal and working as it should. However, sometimes restarting the PC in the normal way causes the issue to reoccur and the process to beings again with the other port the second monitor is connected to.

Does anyone have any ideas what's going on and how we can resolve the issue?
