HP Recommended

Having no success in upgrading RAM to 32 MB.

I am using identical 8MB memory boards.

SK hynix  8GB 2Rx8 PC3L-1200U-11-13-81

HMT41GU6BFR8A-PB NO AA 1450

P/N 698651-154

 

Each pair works and can only get 16MB to work. When adding an additional 8MB  or 16MB the computer will beep once and not boot up...

I first tried another brand of memory and it did the same thing. I read the memory need to be exact same manufacturer so I found the same SK hynix memory boards.

Any help is much appreciated...

I have also double checked each memory card in all the 4 slots and am confident each card and slot is working.

Will not accept any more memory than 16 GB.
