Hi, has anyone come across the rear chassis fan for the Elitedesk 800 G4 SFF rear chassis fan for the 95W installation. The picture in the service manual shows what looks like an attachment which clips on the rear chassis. I believe the part number is L30414-001. Is there an image anywhere of this part apart from the one in the manual? The few images I’ve seen show the fan, but there is no extension to fan frame to clip it to the chassis. Here is the manual image for the fan, I’ve highlighted the extension to the fan. If there is a part number for this extension that would be a start. Thanks

Or if I order Part L30414-001 the fan will come with the extension/shroud/ chassis mount. When searching for options there seem to be the fans but no attachment shrouds.

funnily enough i’ve been having the same issue trying to find a fan for my 800 G4 SFF that i’ve turned into a lil gaming rig. apparently the HP Z2 G4 SFF also uses the same case fan. the HP part numbers are different, but they have the exact same Foxconn part number (foxconn pia070g12h). i still haven’t found the correct support bracket, but i found someone on eBay selling the fan with some kinda bracket. i don’t think it’ll fit in my case, but it was the only way i could find this fan without paying crazy extra to buy one from the UK or for a crazy price on Walmart. i’m most likely gonna try to make a cardboard support or tape the fan to the chassis maybe…not sure yet.

anyhow, i hope this info helps. please lmk if u find the proper bracket!

Hi,

I’ve had zero luck with HP support. I found a youtube video of the Z2 G4 SFF showing the bracket and the fan together 27:00 mins in. It’s frustrating that these machines are supplied with the bracket and when you purchase they are supplied without the bracket and there are no seperate numbers for just the bracket.

Here is a picture of the Z2 G4 fan and bracket seperated.
