HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Base Model Tower PC
Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Base Model Tower PC and run Microsoft Windows 11 Pro (64-bit, 22H2). Recently when I logged into my Intel service page for software updates I am advised that "The Resizable BAR feature, which is required for optimal performance with Intel® Arc™ A-Series Graphics, is currently unavailable on this system."

Hence was wondering how this can be enabled on my system

Hi, sorry for the delayed response ai had been unwell.

In reference to your notes, I tried the  Intel DSA, but did not find any appropriate support except the statement  "The Resizable BAR feature, which is required for optimal performance with Intel® Arc™ A-Series Graphics, is currently unavailable on this system".

Intel supports resizable bar on 400 series chipsets and up. However some manufacturers added resizable bar support for 300 series chipsets. HP Will not give you a straight answer because they do not support the feature resizable bar. Although they could make a bios update to add it to BIOS they will not because they're lazy.
