Can the Envy 750-524 with motherboard IPM17-002 support an MVe SSD. I would like to upgrade the C: drive and will the bios support it? Thanks for any help provided.

No....☹️ One M.2 socket 1, key A . That M.2 socket is for Wi-FI card. Key M is data.

NVMe requires the use of a PCIEx4 or greater slot. You have a x4,x8,x16 slot (graphic) and a x1 slot.

I am saying PCIEx4 or greater is necessary. It should be recognized by the motherboard. Not sure of BIOS.

Do you know if I can use this combo (PCIe adapter and NVMe drive)strictly as a storage drive not as a bootable drive? If mb can see it will windows 10 be able to see it as another drive for storage? Thanks for any help you can provide.
