My Front Bezel cover on my Envy 705-0020 Power button is messed up and the power button is not working. My power button is a micro momentary switch that has 4 terminals, and it is mounted on a small 1 inch circuit board. I have tried to put it back together but when I assemble it, the button is too close to the neopreme exterior power switch and I can't get the momentary action needed to make it work right because the tolerance is so small between the button top surface and the neopreme post it is supposed to touch. I don't care about aesthetics and all I want is function. I thought about mounting the micro switch on the outside of the computer casing, and forgetting the case mounted power button but the micro momentary switch is too delicate to do so. I thought about replacing the micro switch with a much larger durable 4 terminal momentary switch that would easily "survive" glued to the outside on the case on the front of the computer but I'd like to know which terminals on the micro switch connect to which contact posts on the motherboard. Can anybody help?
