I have a HP Envy Phoenix which has served me very well. I'm looking to add SSD to it to increase the speed of things and keep it going. I used to work from home and it's been a champion, but I've now had to start working away. I haven't use it much lately except for browsing but I know I need to learn revit and twinmotion. I have to get a better graphics card to help things out. I'm planing on putting in a gtx2060 super as I'm on a budget right now. That's going to take the pci-e 16 slot so How do I add the ssd?
I've read that I need to use PCIe, socket 3 type M SSD. I seem to have one PCIe 16 socket available to upgrade the graphics card. What I cant figure out is will these two items clash inside the box? I really want two SSD drives but I'm guessing I'll have to buy a new box.

You are in the right place for advice, so bear with the reply(s). First of all, please state the exact model, ie HP 810-109, 810-145qe, 860-160, etc. OK ? 😀
Lets put that big cabinet is proper perspective ?
1) Depending on the model, the PSU wattage changes.
2) Different motherboards have different numbers of SATA data ports. See #4
3) The GTX 2060 Super is a 175W card, some are 9" long.
4) If sufficient, you could install (2) 2.5" SSD drives into the same 3.5" bay. Double stack tray.
5) An NVMe in the PCIEx1 slot might be possible if you have a Gen3 slot. Need to check this some more.

You do not have a motherboard M.2 slot.
The 2nd PCIEx16 (lower slot) will run a x4 card, (link)

You can purchase standard 2.5" SSD SATA hard drives, but you need an 2.5" to 3.5 adapter tray to slide into ANY computer. These trays come in many types, single or dual trays. The other option is the PCIEx4 NVMe card, which is super fast, some NVM e M.2 SSD 2280 are blazing fast.
