I’m new to to HP and was wondering if anyone could help me with a question please. I needed a computer to work from home (Covid19 Sux) and it needed to support UEFI BIOS, which I know nothing about btw. I purchased a model HP M01-F0024 from the local electronics store online and asked in an online chat at said store about this, at which he was stumped. He then said he’d look on HP itself then returned with a yes it does. I made the purchase, but then looked on here and can’t find the Info. Maybe he was paid commission but can someone please tell me if indeed this motherboard supports UEFI BIOS mode (hopefully I’m saying that correctly). Thanks in advance!

That is a very new motherboard with a 3rd generation Ryzen, B550A chipset, and support for an NVME M.2 SSD. I believe it would have to support UEFI. However this page has information on how to check if your system supports UEFI. Have you accessed the BIOS settings and looked for the UEFI or Legacy setting yet?

That system comes with a 256 GB NVMe/PCIe M.2 SSD. The system has to be in UEFI mode or it would not boot. Legacy does not support PCIe boot devices. The specs are here.
