I purchased the OmniStudio x 27 on February 3. After receiving the item, I used it for three days and it wouldn't power on. I notified HP Support who tried to resolve the issue and I finally told them that I wanted a new desktop. I returned the computer and reordered one on February 12, 2025.

I agree that there wasn't any clear instructions for connecting the monitor to the stand but I did manage to get it to connect. Seven months later, I heard a crash and went into the room and found it on my floor. No one uses that room and the door was closed so I know it wasn't touched. I agree that it is definitely a safety issue and there must be something defective.

I notified HP and was told that I didn't have accidental warranty insurance so I would have to pay $422.94 for repairs, labor and shipping and handling. I needed to get it fixed, so I did pay but I am not a bit happy since this is the second problem that I encountered with this desktop.

I agree, perhaps a class action lawsuit is in order. I purchased the OmniStudio 31.5" for my small business.

I was typing at my desk when the screen detached from the stand, crashing down on my hands and breaking the screen.

Either the design is extremely flawed or the stand mechanism is defective. I've been on hold with HP collectively for three plus hours with no solution. The last call, I was told they would not honor the warranty. I escalated the claim and was told I would receive an email confirmation and a call back. I have not received the confirmation email, and still waiting on the call.

Extremely frustrating!

Here's the bruise on my hand from the screen falling off the stand.

I contacted the Consumer Product Safety Commission and they contacted HP. I am working on a resolution at this time and I am very satisfied with the correspondence and care that I am receiving. Make sure you have documentation of the damaged Pc for their reference.
